Last year I wrote a little
post on here about a book that my buddies
Alvaro and
Jen made called Mural Madness Extravaganza. In the book, they interview a prominent Miami muralist who goes by the name "Serge". Serge has been all over the news recently, after the city of Miami forced him to paint over a mural he painted of Barak Obama, which was part of a tribute to MLK Jr. Read up on the bureaucracy
here. The best part in the article is when Serge is quoted saying, "What's the point of painting Martin Luther King Jr. if you can't paint his dream?" Word up.
