Double R Says: "I know its short notice but today at the New Era Cap store in downtown Manhattan there is an open photo shoot for their 2007 global ad campaign. They will be taking quick portrait shots of all kinds of creative people (such as yourselves). There's also some free caps for the first 50 and 30% off any purchases on the day of. The best part is these photos will be part of an online campaign where you'll be able to log on to New Era's site and see yourself and friends as part of their "Are you Part of the New Era?" campaign. This is the first time something like this has been done, and I think it will be pretty ill, so if you have the time on friday and are in NYC definitely try to come thru."

Found these old videos on Youtube. The first is GIZ, KECH and SLASH from Queens' MTA crew. GIZ has my favorite fill-in of all time. The second video is a super old school clip of GIZ and DESA bombing. DESA is the subject of a new book from 12ozprophet called Million Dollar Vandal.

Fondue and champagne are only one week away! If you aren't up on the Paris stuff, here's some teachings. And check this little video on Justice, who'll be playing in Geneva when I'm out there. Finally, here's a Fader article on Ed Banger, Justice's record label. Get familiar.

Wooster on Spring is a street art installation that will taking place on the corner of Elizabeth and Spring. Curated by Mark and Sara from Wooster Collective, this will probably be pretty cool. The building has always been a hot spot for graffiti in NOLITA, featuring stuff from Sacer, Shep Fairey, Semz, Katsue, Monk, Risk 9, and tons of other people. It is currently in the process of being converted into an apartment building. Before it gets renovated it will feature a bunch of installations by some cool artists including Swoon, Cycle, WK Interact and even...Borf.
