Real talk about the disappointing Ozone Awards and the unfortunate state of contemporary hip hop from Mattsoreal. Definitely worth reading. Country rap music is great, but like Matt writes, things are getting a little too ridiculous these days.

Last night Rambo and I went to the Ozone Magazine Awards. It was the most unorganized event I've ever witnessed, but was still pretty fresh. Got to see live performances from Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Baby, Rick Ross, Foxx and a bunch of other southern rappers I'm forgetting. Heard some cool songs I didn't know about too. Also met Mattsoreal, who has a cool blog you should check out for all things Houston hip hop related.
